- EDTA / Formic Acid Decalcified Bone Embedding in Paraffin
Thin Section Microtomy and Ground Sections
- Thin Section Microtomy for Routine Histomorphometry
- Sections are cut at a thickness of about 5 microns.
- Sections are normally cut serially from one level. Sectioning at multiple levels is possible.
- Ground Sections for Implant Histomorphometry
- Sections are cut at ~100 microns and ground then polished to a thickness of 30 microns.
Staining on Thin Plastic Sections
- Goldner Trichrome
- TRAP
- Von Kossa
- Toluidine Blue
Staining on Thin Paraffin Sections
Staining on Ground Sections
- Sanderson's Rapid Bone Stain
